Fantastic Mattress for a Fantastic Price, April 18, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: DynastyMattress 13" TWIN Celebrity Pillow Top with w/6" Memory Foam Mattress I really struggled with making a decision on which memory foam mattress to invest in. I couldn't afford a mistake. I hadn't had a decent night's sleep in years due to multiple back injuries and severe back pain. This was my last, best hope for changing that. What sold me on this particular mattress was a shopping guide to memory foam on another selling website. That guide pointed out that the higher the density, the more durable and supportive the mattress. The guide also indicated that the higher densities molded to your curves better, while providing that support. It said that the ideal density range was 3lb - 5lb and it recommended a minimum of 3 inches of memory foam. Since I am plump, I did not want to be bottoming out past the memory foam. This 5 inch memory foam depth was the deepest I had seen in the lower priced memory foam mattresses.

I tried out a memory foam before (Tempurpedic)that my nephew has. It was really nice to sleep on, but I knew that it was so expensive to get one and my mattress was one of those coil spring varieties that was cheap. When I saw this on here, after deciding that I could not go on with my old mattress anymore, (at a much cheaper price than my old spring mattress)I decided to give it a try.
I was sleeping much better and there is no heat build-up, but there is a slight odor that I could live with and my sense of smell is way beyond sensitive. I have had it for a few months and it is just fantastic!

She had been having sore back and restless nights. When the mattress arrived it did have a slight odor which we expected. She left it unpackaged for the day to air out. By evening the odor was almost gone and she slept on it that night. This was in August and it's now October and she loves her mattress. She has been sleeping better with less pain. Likes the support and the way it conforms to the body. She has a lot of trouble with being warm and said that she has not noticed the mattress adding to it as some have complained about memory foam mattress's. Also the pillow top adds to the comfort of the mattress. I tried laying on her bed to try it out and also loved the comfortable feeling of the memory foam. So much so that I have ordered this one for myself today.
